Staging VPS

Similar to the playground VPS, you have the option to create a VPS in the staging environment. Staging is used for the development and testing of our virtualization platform vpsAdminOS. In staging, you can utilize more resources, but it is a development environment, and there may be unscheduled downtimes. We test new versions of the kernel, ZFS, and other components here.

System Resources

You have access to:

  • 16 CPUs
  • 32 GB of memory
  • 320 GB of disk space

It is possible to create up to 4 VPS. Their lifespan is limited to 3 months. After discussion with support, it is possible to extend their lifespan.

What is the purpose of staging VPS

  • Anything that doesn't require stability and can handle unscheduled downtimes
  • Performing more demanding operations that require more resources
  • Build/testing environment for your applications

What is NOT the purpose of staging VPS

  • As a secondary VPS for production services
  • Running services that require stability or scheduled downtimes

Creating a VPS

In staging, it is possible to create a new VPS or clone a VPS from another environment. See the article on playground VPS.
